Graduations, Dances, Etc.

WELL, I would like to start off this post by officially announcing that I, Bryan Alderman am a Freshman in Highschool. After 8 years rising from Kindergarten to 8th grade at ICS, I have finally made it to highschool. I am actually on my second day as a ninth grader, even though I don't start school until August. Okay no more on that because as well as my first day as a ninth grader, yesterday was also a couple of other things. It was my first day of SUMMER BREAK!!!! I am so excited to be on summer break that I am about to jump out of my seat right now. I can't wait for the trip to the beach and youth group camp and every other exciting thing that I am doing this summer. The thing I am most excited about is just not having any school that I am forced to do. So yesterday was our last day of school and it was alot of fun. Although it was in the plan for the first half of the day to be acedemic, we pretty much just hung out and talked to our friends the whole time. Then we had lunch and came back up for more time to hang out. This part was pretty cool because for once in our middle school lives, our teachers didn't really care what we did. We all had our Ipods out right in front of them and they just kept on doing what they were doing. It was AMAZING!!!! So then we went down to the sanctuary for our graduation. My parents, Ben, and Grammy came, however my dear sweet Aunt Dana could not make it this time due to a strange incident. She said that she was getting out of car when she was hit by a bus on I-4... OUCH!!! But she had a miraculous recovery today and was able to make it to Aubrey's graduation. I'm not believing it but you might (sorry Dana :) ). We then went through a 30 minute process where they called off our names, gave us an award or two, and said a few words about us. After that we went into the fellowship hall and had cake and stuff. After that everyone went home and got changed or whatever and then came back for the Eigth Grade Dance. This was so much fun. Almost everyone was just dancing like there was not even such a thing as embarrasment... especially me. :). But yeah it was a blast and I hope that the highschool dances are even more fun. Well after my graduation last night I had the privelege of going to Aubrey's graduation this morning (No, I didn't get hit by a bus) and that was really fun. The class was really cute and their songs and dances were AMAZING!!! Well that's all the graduation stories I have for now. In 1 year I can post about Robbie's Highschool Grad. AND THEN IN 3 YEARS AFTER THAT I WILL POST ABOUT MY OWN HS GRADUATION AND BEN'S 8th GRADE GRADUATION!!!! YIPPEEE!!!! L8ER
